Christine James
I have been actively involved in the health and fitness industry for 30 years. For 28 yrs I was a fitness instructor and since 1996 I have worked as a diversional therapist with the frail aged. I have completed the first and second degree in Reiki, completed modules one, two three and four in disabilities awareness, trained in Spiritually Guided Healing and gained a diploma in Huna Massage and Huna philosophy. The seven modules of the Huna training include the following
Pregnancy Massage, Joint Mobility, Emotional Release Techniques and Energy Work, Energy Systems and Polarity Balancing, Hot Stone Massage, Body Reading, Toning and Words, Prayer , meditation and Telepathy, Intuition and Expansion of the Senses and Breathing and other exercises for Body ,Mind and Spirit.
Huna massage is an ancient form of Polynesian bodywork which originated in Hawaii. Huna massage is a combination of traditional healing techniques and flowing massage strokes, using the forearms, hands and elbows. The practioner moves freely around the table using special footwork and body positioning to create optimum contact and pressure with the clients body throughout the massage.
The benefit of Huna massage is its ability to bring the body back into physical, mental and emotional balance. This is achieved in a beautiful, nurturing, flowing way with intuition, focus and the use of the breath. All of these things combined create a state of presence and an inner rhythm within the body and this allows the body to realign itself and healing can
take place.
The forearms are used in rhythmical wave-like movements under and over the body which creates a completely different experience from most other forms of massage. Huna massage is individually sculptured and can be very gentle or very deep depending on the needs of
the clients.

Nicola-Jane le Breton – Journaling to Unravel
“Let it go. Let it out.
Let it all unravel.
Let it free and it can be
A path on which to travel.” – Michael Leunig
I’m Nicola-Jane le Breton of Write2Unravel™. I am a student and teacher of creative writing with a special passion for journaling and life writing. Last year I was awarded a place (one of five from around Australia) in the annual Macquarie Bank - Longlines Prose Workshop, at the Varuna Writers’ Centre in the Blue Mountains, to develop the manuscript for my fictionalised memoir. In addition to having a number of short stories and poems published over the years, I have kept a regular diary and explored many different approaches to journaling since age thirteen.

About Pranic Healing
Grand Master Choa Kok Sui's Pranic Healing is a simple yet powerful and effective method of
energy healing. It is a 'non-touch' modality with the healer working on the energy body of the
client. It is based on the fundamental principle that the body is a self-repairing living entity,
which possesses the innate ability to heal itself. Pranic healing courses provide techniques to
harness Prana or Vital Force and use it to rebalance, harmonise and strengthen the body's
energy fields, thus effecting a physical and emotional healing.

Lyndal Gallaway
Blessed I am to have lived a life rich in ‘journeying the inner landscape of my being’ as well as travelling this beautiful outer world.
Firstly the path of Yoga in many of its richness of styles, teachers, teachings and Enlightened Masters inspired and captured my heart more than 35years ago.
Teaching and sharing my knowledge of Yoga, the backbone of my professional life to students of primary and secondary schools, adult education, summer schools, hospitals, banks and offices, groups, classes and individuals.
Since Qi Gong (Chi Kung) was introduced to me 15 years ago, I found it naturally complimentary to my personal practices and undertook training
with Masters of Qi whilst continuing to teach and share this valued and precious Mind/Body/Spirit medical and martial art form.
For me, Qi Gong offers the qualities of softness, strength, grounding, empowerment, focus, clarity, mindfulness and connectedness with Earth and Heaven.
Due to the fact that no props are needed, Qi Gong can be practiced anywhere producing immediate benefit to a practitioner from the easy flowing movements combined with the breath and mindfulness.
Apart from teaching on-going classes in both Yoga and QiGong in Albany and Denmark, I present mini-workshops including Qi Gong, Yoga and Relaxation for TAFE staff development days; as energy enhancement at conferences; ‘carers’ retreats from several government organisations and more recently for Festival of Voice in Denmark.
I also operate a practice for individuals in Bowen therapy in Albany and Denmark, with a background of some 25 years in mind/body therapies.

BEAT THE FAMILY TEAM BUILDING FAMLIES THROUGH DRUMMING

Beat the Family, is a family orientated drumming workshop aimed at improving family relationships through African drums (Djembe’s).
The workshop uses drum and beat as a tool to build trust and relationships within a family group. Improving these values can have a direct impact on improving your family life and objectives.
This workshop uses family-drumming exercises to identify individual’s personalities, while highlighting the need to work as a family.
Beat the Family uses basic drumming rhythms as a metaphor for personal behavior. E.g. an erratic personality is hard to work with, just like an erratic beat is hard to play along with.
B.t.F is fun, expressive and family group discussions are used after every exercise to build communication. Family member’s identification of family values is an important part of building a strong family. Listening to others will improve the family’s decision-making process.
Conflict resolution is highlighted through clashing rhythms. Finding a common beat is the answer and this idea is important to real life resolutions in the family.
Working in rhythm with each other makes your Family stronger and less prone to division. When playing as a family, individuals are supported by each other, maintaining a common rhythm. The same basic drumming principal has been used in war with advancing troops.
B.t.F gives individuals the opportunity to lead the family group and build confidence in themselves .It can also give parents an opportunity to see hidden strengths and weaknesses of their children.
