These terms and conditions set out the terms and conditions on which you book any retreat conducted by Luna Retreats

DISCLAIMER

  • We endeavour to ensure that information appearing in this site is correct at the time of collation, but accept no responsibility for any mistakes, inaccuracies or mis-descriptions, whether by inclusion or omission and whether negligent or otherwise. Prices, details, services and retreat content shown are subject to change without notice.

  • It is your responsibility to check the details, prices and retreat content at the time of booking to determine if there have been alterations to the information provided regarding the retreat you intend to book.

CHANGES IN RETREAT CONTENT

  • We will do our utmost to preserve the integrity of the retreat you have chosen however it is possible that at times, for circumstances beyond our control such as illness of facilitators, we will exercise the right to vary the content of a retreat or cancel a particular part of the retreat.

  • When a change of this kind occurs, we will not be held responsible for the cancellation. Whenever possible an alternative session of similar relevance will be integrated into the retreat to compensate for the variation.
  • We will endeavor to meet the expectations of our clients however we will not be held responsible if a suitable replacement activity cannot be found within the terms and context of the retreat.

BOOKINGS AND PAYMENT

  • Bookings may be made by using the booking function on this website or contacting us by telephone or email.
     
  • An invoice for the cost of the retreat will be issued within 5 working days of receipt of your booking.

  • Payment of the full amount detailed on the invoice is required within 14 working days of the date of the invoice.

  • If the payment of the invoice is not received within 14 days of the date of the invoice then we reserve the right to reallocate the booking to another client.

  • Payments can be made by bank transfer, cash, bank cheque, credit card or money order. Our bank account details for bank transfers will be provided on the invoice.

PRICES

  • All prices quoted in this website include GST and are in Australian dollars.

CANCELLATIONS / DEFERMENT OF BOOKING

  • A cancellation of a booking will take effect from the date a cancellation notice is received in writing or by telephone. The following cancellation penalties will apply:

  • Cancellations made greater than two months prior to the commencement of the booked retreat will result in a full refund of any monies paid to us for the booking.

  • Cancellations made less than two months but greater than one month prior to the commencement of the booked retreat will result in a refund of 75% of the monies paid to us for the booking.

  • For cancellations made less than one month prior to the commencement of the booked retreat no refunds will be given.

  • The cancellation penalties will not apply if the retreat is cancelled by us.

  • If you are unable to attend the retreat you have booked you may request that your booking be deferred for a period of 12 months. If you do not attend an alternate retreat before the 12 month period expires then the time limitations contained in paragraphs 5 a. (1) to (3) will apply to determine if a refund is due to you. For example if you defer your booking after 30th June 2008 but before 15th July 2008 then you will receive a refund of 75% of the fee paid.

BOOKING RESTRICTIONS

  • We reserve the right to restrict bookings for the retreat if the content of the retreat is designed for a particular group such as females only, males only, couples only or families only as the case may be.

  • Bookings will be restricted to the persons, couples or groups for whom the retreat is designed.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • Subject to any responsibilities implied by law and which cannot be excluded, we (including, in this limitation of liability clause, our related bodies corporate, directors, officers, employees, agents and contractors) expressly disclaim all liability to you or any other persons for any losses, damages, liabilities, claims and expenses (including but not limited to legal costs and defence or settlement costs) whatsoever, whether direct, indirect or consequential, arising out of or referable to the content of the retreat, attendance at the retreat, any therapies or treatment received on the retreat, this website (or material accessed via this website), or to access of the website by you, howsoever caused, whether in contract, tort including negligence, statute or otherwise.

  • To the full extent permitted by law, any liabilities imposed on us, or implied into these Terms and Conditions, under any law are hereby excluded.


  • Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify rights which you may have under the Trade Practices Act or any other legislation which may not be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement.
